PUBP Student Selected as Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher

Public Policy senior Liam Rattray was selected by the Ivan Allen College as the recipient of this year’s Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher in the college.  The award includes a monetary stipend ($250) and desk award of which Liam was presented at the Undergraduate Research Symposium last week.  Selections for the award were based on research work of high quality and demonstration of leadership on the project.  Liam’s current research Faculty mentor is Doug Noonan.

Policy Research Fellow Opportunity!

This fall, four undergraduate Research Fellowships will be awarded!  The semester-long research fellowships will give selected students a chance to participate in a policy research project.  Fellows will receive a $250/week stipend and be expected to work approximately 15 hours per week.  The research subject will be either “Open Source Software Policy” or “Voluntary Information-Based Environmental Policies.”  If these topics and the opportunity to be an undergraduate research fellow appeal to you … then stay tuned for the call for applications later this summer.  In the meantime, you might consider …
