This summer the College of Computing is offering a course involving the development of mobile applications and the impact of mobile computing. This course is meant for non-computing majors and does not have any pre-requisites. Students will use App Inventor for Android (a visual programming language) to create prescribed applications (plus a final project application of their choosing). We will also discuss the global and social impacts of mobile computing, and explore how existing technologies work. This course would be a cool way to satisfy your Science and Computing Elective …

The University of Georgia has a Semester in Washington, D.C. program you should consider applying for.
To be considered for participation in the Washington Semester Program, students must meet the following criteria:
3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average.
At least Junior class standing by the term of participation.
Good disciplinary standing.
Completion of the Federal and Georgia Constitution requirement.
