Spring 2013 Degree Candidates

Process for completing petition to graduate. Please read thoroughly.

Are you completing your Public Policy Degree this Spring? Want to Graduate or “Get OUT” of Tech? Then read closely…
You must meet with me sometime between Friday Sept 21st- Friday October 8th to complete your degree petition if you would like to be a degree candidate for SPRING 2013.

CS 1803 POC Principles of Computing: Apps for Everyone

This summer the College of Computing is offering a course involving the development of mobile applications and the impact of mobile computing.  This course is meant for non-computing majors and does not have any pre-requisites.  Students will use App Inventor for Android (a visual programming language) to create prescribed applications (plus a final project application of their choosing).  We will also discuss the global and social impacts of mobile computing, and explore how existing technologies work. The University of Georgia has a Semester in Washington, D.C. program you should consider applying for.
To be considered for participation in the Washington Semester Program, students must meet the following criteria:

3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average.
At least Junior class standing by the term of participation.
Good disciplinary standing.
Completion of the Federal and Georgia Constitution requirement.
