Public Policy Student Awarded Eben Tisdale Fellowship

Tyler “TJ” Kaplan, a fourth year undergraduate student in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts School of Public Policy, has been awarded the Eben Tisdale Public Policy Fellowship.
The fellowship consists of a $5,000 grant and a full-time, eight week public policy internship in Washington, DC with a high-tech company, firm or trade association, and weekly issues seminars hosted by Tisdale sponsors.

Generation Green: Liam Rattray Memorial Service Project

As a tribute to Liam Rattray’s dedication to sustainability and urban agriculture, Generation Green is hosting the Liam Rattray Memorial Service Project at the Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Agriculture.
Liam grew up in Atlanta and was one of the city’s most promising young environmental leaders. Aaron Levine’s National Science Foundation Career grant titled “Ethically Contentious Science and the Graduate School Experience”, was approved with a five year $650K project award!   The focus of the project is developing an understanding of how studying an ethically contentious field in graduate school affects students’ learning, their

Liam’s Legacy – A May 30th Celebration of Liam’s life!!

On Wednesday, May 30th, Liam Ratray’s family will be having an evening for Liam…
They have booked the retreat house @ Callanwolde Fine Art Center, 980 Briarcliff Rd N.E., Atlanta, GA, 30306 for the evenings activities.
The evenings activities @ Callanwolde will kick off @ 7:00PM, and wrap up by 11:00PM.
They will also be visiting Liam in the forest earlier that day, and those who wish to join are most welcome.
There are some thoughts of going to Little 5 Points before the Callanwolde event, again to remember  Liam around 6:00PM.
