Research:

I am presently pursuing how to track and visualize the evolution of researcher careers in terms of their publications and citations. We especially apply our VantagePoint text mining software to process search sets of abstract records (e.g., from Web of Science) for a given set of researchers. We are now devising ways to map changes over time in the cross-disciplinary mix of references, publications, and citations received. We are presently applying these tools to help evaluate NSF research program effects.
