University curricula - analyses of structure and evolution of engineering curricula, their relationship to learning objectives in other domains (e.g., sustainability, liberal arts), effects of curricular design on enrollments, and other topics.

Political and resource-allocation implications of the organization of scientific knowledge:  effects of the disciplinary organization  of science on funding, curricula, workforce recruitment, etc.
